Transportation affects work, school, medical care, childcare, family stability, and the ability to move forward. Drive Hope is a needs-based community giveaway designed to connect one household with more than a vehicle—with new possibilities.
Privacy-minded
The streamlined application avoids highly sensitive identity information. Identity, contact, reference, consent, and optional church information is hidden from application scorers.

Frequently asked questions
Before you apply
Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, currently reside in South Carolina, and hold a current valid driver’s license. The complete official rules will control all eligibility requirements.
Is the vehicle new?
No. The giveaway vehicle is a used blue 2013 Ford Expedition XLT with about 162,000 miles. It has an automatic transmission, a 5.4L gasoline engine, rear-wheel drive, and a four-door SUV body. The vehicle will be transferred as-is, with no warranty from Deal Depot Auto Sales or Flat Rock Baptist Church except any express written warranty provided at transfer or rights that cannot legally be waived. After transfer, the recipient is responsible for insurance, registration, taxes, maintenance, repairs, operation, and other ownership costs.
Do I have to buy anything, donate, or attend church?
No. Entry is free. A purchase, donation, church attendance, profession of faith, and Deal Depot marketing consent are not required and do not improve your chance of selection.
Does the online application ask for highly sensitive identity information?
No. Do not place highly sensitive identity numbers, banking information, medical records, or identity documents in a narrative response or ordinary email.
How will applications be reviewed?
Applications are reviewed for eligibility and then evaluated for transportation hardship, essential impact, financial need, household circumstances, and reference and verification readiness. Optional church and outreach answers are hidden from scorers and are not used in selection.
When is the application deadline?
Online applications must be submitted, and paper applications must be physically received at the church, by Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM (Veterans Day). A postmark is not enough. Mail paper applications to Drive Hope, c/o Flat Rock Baptist Church, 115 Slab Bridge Road, Liberty, SC 29657.
Can I mail a paper application?
Yes. Download and print the paper application, complete every required item, and mail it to Drive Hope, c/o Flat Rock Baptist Church, 115 Slab Bridge Road, Liberty, SC 29657. It must be received by the deadline. Keep a copy for your records.
How many verified finalists will there be?
There is no preset numerical limit. Applicants who meet the published eligibility requirements, advance through review, and complete verification may remain in the verified-finalist pool. The official rules will control the drawing and alternate process.
Will owning the vehicle still cost money?
Yes. The recipient may have insurance, fuel, maintenance, repair, registration, property-tax, and other ownership costs. Finalists will receive an itemized estimate of known costs before the drawing.
Do I have to be present?
Yes. The selected recipient must be present at the November 14, 2026 event. The event and free food begin at 11:00 AM, the giveaway drawing is at 12:00 PM (noon), and attendees who are not selected for the vehicle will still receive a small gift.
