A partnership built around people

When a reliable ride can open the next door

Transportation affects work, school, medical care, childcare, family stability, and the ability to move forward. Drive Hope is a needs-based community giveaway designed to connect one household with more than a vehicle—with new possibilities.

01

Free and fair

Applications are screened for eligibility and reviewed using transportation need, expected impact, financial need, and the ability to keep the vehicle insured and operating.

02

Privacy-minded

Sensitive identity fields are encrypted before storage, excluded from browser drafts and exports, hidden from Reviewers and Program Observers, and masked for Administrators until individually revealed for legitimate work.

03

Community-centered

Church outreach and Deal Depot follow-up are completely optional and are not used when applications are scored.

Frequently asked questions

Before you apply

Who is eligible to apply?

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and currently reside in South Carolina. The complete official rules will control all eligibility requirements.

Is the vehicle new?

No. The giveaway vehicle is a used blue 2013 Ford Expedition XLT with about 162,000 miles. It has an automatic transmission, a 5.4L gasoline engine, rear-wheel drive, and a four-door SUV body. Finalists will receive available current mileage, condition, title, cost, and warranty or as-is information before the drawing.

Do I have to buy anything, donate, or attend church?

No. Entry is free. A purchase, donation, church attendance, profession of faith, and Deal Depot marketing consent are not required and do not improve your chance of selection.

Why does the online application ask for my Social Security and driver's-license numbers?

They are requested for identity verification and the background and driving-record reviews you authorize. The fields are encrypted before storage, excluded from browser drafts and exports, hidden from Reviewers and Program Observers, and masked for Administrators until one value is individually revealed. Never send these numbers by ordinary email.

How will applications be reviewed?

Applications are reviewed for eligibility and then evaluated for transportation hardship, essential impact, financial need, ownership sustainability, and a practical plan.

How many verified finalists will there be?

There is no preset numerical limit. Applicants who meet the published eligibility requirements, advance through review, and complete verification may remain in the verified-finalist pool. The official rules will control the drawing and alternate process.

Will owning the vehicle still cost money?

Yes. The recipient may have insurance, fuel, maintenance, repair, registration, property-tax, and other ownership costs. Finalists will receive an itemized estimate of known costs before the drawing.

Do I have to be present?

Yes. The selected recipient must be present at the November 14, 2026 event. Doors and free food begin at 5:00 PM, the giveaway drawing is at 6:30 PM, and attendees who are not selected for the vehicle will still receive a small gift.
