Drive Hope Vehicle Giveaway
Giveaway Terms and Important Disclosures
Read these terms before applying. The approved published rules and the signed vehicle-transfer documents control if there is a conflict.
Last updated: August 28, 2026. Drive Hope is presented by Flat Rock Baptist Church, 115 Slab Bridge Road, Liberty, South Carolina 29657, and Deal Depot Auto Sales, 13712 E. Wade Hampton Boulevard, Greer, South Carolina 29651 (together, the “Organizers”).
Free entry and eligibility
No purchase, payment, donation, church attendance, profession of faith, volunteer service, Deal Depot marketing consent, or other consideration is required. A purchase, donation, or church relationship will not improve an applicant’s chance of selection. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, currently reside in South Carolina, hold a current valid driver’s license, submit no more than one application per household, satisfy the published requirements, and be able to attend the drawing in person. The application requires the driver’s-license number, issuing state, issue date, and expiration date so this eligibility requirement can be verified. The license must not be expired when the application is submitted, and the selected recipient must still hold a current valid license when eligibility and transfer requirements are completed. Employees, officers, directors, selection personnel, and their immediate-family or household members may be excluded to protect the integrity of the process.
Entry period and delivery
Online applications must be received by the website, and mailed or hand-delivered paper applications must be physically received by Flat Rock Baptist Church, no later than Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM (Veterans Day). A postmark does not establish timely receipt. Address paper applications to Drive Hope, c/o Flat Rock Baptist Church, 115 Slab Bridge Road, Liberty, SC 29657. Applicants are responsible for complete and legible delivery. The Organizers are not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, corrupted, or inaccessible entries, except where responsibility cannot legally be disclaimed.
Review and selection
Applications may be screened for eligibility and evaluated using transportation hardship, expected essential impact, financial need, household circumstances, and reference or verification readiness. For online applications, identity, contact details, references, signatures, and optional church/outreach answers are masked in the scoring view. Optional church or marketing answers are not used in selection. Paper applications are reviewed directly from the original scan and are not automatically redacted; approved reviewers may therefore see identifying information written on the paper and must recuse for conflicts of interest.
Materially false, altered, duplicate, automated, tampered, or incomplete entries may be rejected. The Organizers may contact applicants or references to clarify or verify information and may correct an obvious administrative error without changing the substance of an applicant’s answer. If the final recipient is selected by drawing from a verified-finalist pool, the odds depend on the number of verified finalists.
Event and award conditions
The event and free food begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 14, 2026, and the drawing is scheduled for 12:00 PM (noon) at Flat Rock Baptist Church. The selected recipient must be present, present a current valid driver’s license through the required secure or in-person verification process, provide other required proof of eligibility, obtain legally required insurance before possession, and complete title and transfer documents. Failure to satisfy a material condition by the stated deadline may result in selection of an alternate.
Used vehicle; no promises beyond the transfer documents
The prize is a used vehicle. Vehicle descriptions and mileage are approximate until confirmed in the final transfer paperwork. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the vehicle is transferred AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS, without implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except for any express written warranty in the final transfer documents and any rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded. No website statement, photograph, estimate, or oral statement changes the signed transfer documents.
After title and possession transfer, the recipient is responsible for insurance, registration, title fees, taxes, fuel, maintenance, repairs, safe operation, parking, towing, citations, accidents, damage, and all other ownership or use costs. The recipient should independently inspect the vehicle and may obtain independent mechanical, tax, benefits, or legal advice before accepting it.
Liability limits and unavoidable events
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the applicant releases the Organizers and their participating personnel from claims arising from participation, attendance, acceptance, ownership, or use of the vehicle, except claims that cannot lawfully be waived and claims arising from gross negligence, reckless conduct, or willful misconduct. Nothing here waives a right that South Carolina or federal law does not allow to be waived.
The Organizers may suspend, postpone, modify, or cancel the program when fraud, tampering, system failure, severe weather, government action, safety concerns, vehicle loss or damage, title problems, or another event beyond reasonable control makes fair or safe administration impracticable. Any change will be announced reasonably and applied as fairly as practicable.
Privacy, records, and publicity
Application information, including the driver’s-license number, issuing state, issue date, and expiration date, is used to administer the giveaway, verify eligibility, protect program integrity, communicate with applicants, and meet recordkeeping obligations. Online driver’s-license numbers and license dates are encrypted when stored, hidden from scorers, and available only through audited administrator access. Paper scans are encrypted in the private database and reviewed directly by approved staff; identifying information written on a paper form remains visible in the scan. The website does not send paper scans to a third-party AI transcription service. Applicant names, photos, stories, or likenesses will not be required for publicity unless authorized in a separate applicable consent.
General terms
South Carolina law governs to the extent permitted. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. The Organizers’ failure to enforce a provision once does not waive future enforcement. Questions may be submitted through the website before the deadline.
