Your story deserves care and respect.
Drive Hope collects application information only to evaluate eligibility, administer the giveaway, communicate with applicants, and document the selection process.
What the application collects
The secure online application asks for contact information, household composition, transportation circumstances, work or education information, a household budget, driving-related eligibility information, references, narrative responses about need and expected impact, signed consents, a driver's-license number, and a Social Security number.
How sensitive information is used
The driver's-license and Social Security numbers are used only for identity verification and the authorized background and driving-record review. They are encrypted before database storage, excluded from browser drafts, exports, and blind packets, and hidden from Reviewer and Program Observer roles. Administrators see Xs by default and must reveal one field at a time; every reveal is audit logged. Never place either number in narrative responses, public messages, or ordinary email.
Who can see the information
Applicant access is limited to designated Administrators and Reviewers. Protected identity, contact, reference, consent, and outreach values are hidden by default. Reviewers can score blind records. Program Observers cannot open or review applications; they can see only aggregate application status counts, anonymous scoring summaries, and marketing reports. Administrators can reveal one protected field at a time when necessary; each reveal is recorded in the audit log. Flat Rock outreach and Deal Depot sales-contact choices are voluntary and are not used in scoring.
Questions, comments, and game scores
Messages submitted through the questions and comments page are stored in a private administrator-only inbox so the team can respond. Reviewers cannot see those messages. The public game leaderboard stores only the display name a player chooses and game statistics such as levels cleared, moves, and time; it is not connected to an application.
Partner-link activity
The website counts clicks to listed partner websites, Deal Depot inventory, social pages, prayer requests, and pastor links. Administrators and Program Observers can see totals, approximate unique-device counts, times, and the referring page. They can also see aggregate application status counts and program-wide scoring averages, but Program Observers cannot see individual applications or scores. Reviewer accounts cannot access marketing reports.
Paper applications
The public website does not offer a paper application. If someone needs help, a Deal Depot employee, church member, or other trusted helper can assist with the secure online form. Applicants may optionally record the helper's name in the application.
How long information is kept
The organizers should adopt a written retention schedule before launch. Unsuccessful-applicant identity documents should be deleted or securely destroyed when no longer needed, while records required for tax, audit, legal, or program-integrity purposes may be retained.
